这种对将来的忧虑是罪，因为否定了耶稣的慈爱、智慧和大能，暗示神并不看顾我们。而且，也暗示神没有能力供应我们所需，否定神的能力。
如果低层次的受造物没有刻意去经营，神尚且养活它们，那么，如果受造的人积极经营，神就更加会养活他们了。
与其忧虑明天一切所需，倒不如积极勇敢面对，这才是轻省的做法。
神必定会看顾敬拜和服事他的子民
有一位天上的父，他知道我们的基本需要
：「如果你们把神喜悦的事放在生命中的首位，我便会保障你将来所需。如果你们先求他的国和他的义，你便永不缺乏生活所需。」
神叫我们只管每天好好活着：明天自有明天的忧虑。

不要让你自己陷入忧愁中

这世界太繁忙，，人活得太累。要不忧虑可真是一件难事啊。周围的一切，哪一件不是影响你的心？不要忧虑，因为主耶稣说过，他会看顾保守我们，我们是他的羊，牧羊人岂不关爱他的羊呢？感谢我们在天上的父他一直照看我们到永远。

所以我告诉你们，不要为生命忧虑吃什么，喝什么。为身体忧虑穿什么。生命不胜于饮食吗？身体不胜于衣裳吗？ (6:25) 你们看那天上的飞鸟，也不种，也不收，也不积蓄在仓里，你们的天父尚且养活它。你们不比飞鸟贵重得多吗？ (6:26) 你们哪一个能用思虑使寿数多加一刻呢？（或作使身量多加一肘呢） (6:27) 何必为衣裳忧虑呢？你想野地里的百合花，怎么长起来，它也不劳苦，也不纺线。 (6:28) 然而我告诉你们，就是所罗门极荣华的时候，他所穿戴的，还不如这花一朵呢。 (6:29) 你们这小信的人哪，野地里的草今天还在，明天就丢在炉里，神还给它这样的妆饰，何况你们呢。 (6:30) 所以不要忧虑，说，吃什么？喝什么？穿什么？ (6:31) 这都是外邦人所求的。你们需用的这一切东西，你们的天父是知道的。 (6:32) 你们要先求他的国和他的义。这些东西都要加给你们了。 (6:33) 所以不要为明天忧虑。因为明天自有明天的忧虑。一天的难处一天当就够了。 (6:34)

Do Not Worry

Each day's own evil is sufficient.
